Traveling is not a reward for working; it's an education for living. - Anthony Bourdain

There is no place I have been that has surpassed the juxtaposition quite like the time I spent in Africa. You could be downtown in a well-developed city and within 30 minutes be face to face with an apex predator or taking in the immense beauty of the surrounding landscape. The experience of spending time in a safari, seeing animals living in their natural habitats and no interference from mankind, no fences, no cages or glass walls. The pride and care taken by those who work in these nature reserves as to not disturb the natural beauty that these animals call home is care and respect with the knowledge that if we continue to expand into their habitats, there will be no room for those that claimed them as home before us.
